I was so excited when it was time to plan my sister Lauren’s bachelorette party. If you know Lauren, you know she loves games, doesn’t like people going out of their way for her, and would hate to inconvenience anyone ever. This is why we opted for a one-night bachelorette themed: Lucky in Love. We rented an Airbnb in Dallas with a pool and four bedrooms, which was perfect for our party of six!

We started the weekend at Goat + Vine for happy hour drinks. My youngest sister Katelynn and I then raced over to set up everything at check-in time. In retrospect, I wish I had booked the Airbnb for two nights to have more time to set up and enjoy the pool. Once everything was ready, we texted the other girls to bring Lauren in, and the party commenced!

We had everything from custom gluten-free cookies to syringe jello shots (she is a scientist, after all), to tattoos of her fiancé Madison. We spent the late afternoon lounging by the pool, listening to music, and drinking. Dinner was from McAlister’s, and then we started our pajama shower. Lauren isn’t the lingerie type, so we chose fun pajama sets instead, which thrilled her!

After the pajama party, game night commenced. We played many of Lauren’s favorite games, and shocker—she won most of them! In the morning, we drank coffee by the pool, cleaned up, and headed out to brunch at Tupelo Honey. It was such a great time celebrating the girl who celebrates others so well!
